Ford Motor Company is recalling 1.4 million vehicles due to a defect that causes the steering wheel to fall off. The company recalled 2014-2017 Ford Fusion and 2014-2018 Lincoln MKZ vehicles. Ford further indicates that the defect is so serious the steering wheel may come off while drivers are on the road.
