Report Details Worst Corporate Misconduct of 2018

Legal

As 2018 draws to a close, it is easy to look back and find numerous, blatant instances of corporate greed and influence in modern America. The American Association of Justice recently released its report, Worst Corporate Conduct of 2018. There, the AAJ noted several high profile corporate scandals that reinforce the age-old belief that large national and multinational corporate entities frequently put profits before people.

The report notes several headline-making events, including State Farm’s attempt to bribe an Illinois Supreme Court justice to get a favorable ruling. After all was said and done, State Farm paid $250 million in a RICO action against it. The largest insurer in America isn’t the “good neighbor” it proclaims to be in TV commercials.

Insurance companies and corporate interests often take drastic, unethical, or even illegal means to suppress the rights of everyday American citizens. If you or someone you know needs help fighting a big company, call Attorney Heath Sullivan at Gulf South Law Firm.
