Federal Officials Investigating Dangerous Ford Fusion Vehicles

Legal

Federal investigators continue an investigation into sudden loss of power steering in 2010 Ford Fusion vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began its investigation into "significantly increased driver effort [being] required to maintain directional control of the vehicle." Officials attribute this to a loss of power steering while the vehicle is in operation. NHTSA indicates that several accidents have occurred as a result of the loss of power steering. Ford previously recalled almost 400,000 vehicles due to this particular issue.
